“What is this showing me?”
Have you ever felt you’re spinning, questioning, judging? Gets you into a negative mindset, start feeling like a victim? Well.. THATS the moment where awareness starts kicking in faster .. and faster .. as you continue this journey!
Everything .. and I mean EVERYTHING is a MIRROR .. All People, All Places and All Things .. Thakorji uses it all to show you, guide you, LOVE you.. the only question is for you – What is it showing you? If this is a test what have I not learnt in my life experiences and what do I need to do differently?
Do you see life happening for you or to you ? Do you know life is wanting to happen through you?
Are you flowing with life or spinning in your ego? Have you forgotten how to breathe?
Are you living life in love or in fear? How can you bring yourself more into the present? Be Present?
It’s easy to get attached to the mind, we think spirituality is different to everyday living, we think sitting quietly makes you spiritual, cutting yourself off makes you spiritual and yes whilst that is all part of the process it’s life that teaches you and life has to be lived! This is Kalyug, this is our Karma .. and magic is only gonna happen as we keep working on balancing our masculine and feminine energies and ultimately align our chakras✨
What are your mirrors showing you?
Recently I was travelling with a group of beautiful, energetic, many first time visitors to India, all happy women, all in and around my age, all speaking another language as their first language, all could speak English but it was not their go to language and India is an explosion to the senses for all first time visitors .. the colours, the flavours, the smells, the sights .. everything really!
People
Whether in a bus or at dinner these ladies could talk non stop! Everyone has so much to say? I sat at dinner tables listening to conversations in another language I reflected on what all this was showing me .. and no I did not get to this awareness straight away ☺️
How we have made ourselves Busy? Distracted? Also, my ego had told me I was being gracious is “allowing” everyone to use their first language!! Amazing huh? It’s their first language! My ego also told me you signed up to organise and you have done an amazing job and you’re done, but as questions started coming, I was getting to “this isn’t my job”! Yes .. Amazing! Some of the questions really were “ouch” .. but then what must Thakorji think of me ☺️ And all my questions and all my drama ☺️
Places
We visited Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Jaipur, 3 cities with different energies and when you are there that energy gets to you too.. the place is also a mirror .. the intensity of Mumbai, the relative calm and emergence of Ahmedabad and the madness of Jaipur!
Things
There was a flight cancellation Jaipur to Mumbai, everyone was giving the Air India staff so much grief, it’s not like they can fly the plane! But maybe because of the week I had had, or maybe because I was in a zone I was able to speak to the young staff happy and smiling and they smiled too, “Smile and the world Smiles with you” really is true . And btw, it’s not only in India we get flight delays.. Atleast we were given food and offered a hotel for the night if we chose that option, the last time my flight was delayed was in the US where they basically told us to go home at 1 am.. no food and no hotel and I have also once sat in a flight in London for 10 days only to be told flight is now cancelled and we leave tomorrow! We can do all the planning we want but something will just go the way they are meant to! It is what it is.
Mirrors
I really did not think I had signed up for all this but Thakorji has his mysterious ways and he used this little adventure to show me and teach me.. “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”.. all people, places and things are a reflection of you .. Can you see that ? Can you accept that ?
Thakorji sat me down to see my mirrors –
- You are here for a reason
- You don’t understand everybody and not everyone understands you and that’s ok
- You signed up for this, patience is the key
- You don’t have to force yourself to do more than you can offer it’s ok to take space
- You don’t have to convince anyone of anything, everyone has their own journey
- You keep faith in what you believe and be, don’t get distracted what others are trying to do or say
- You speak your truth, stay in your truth, it’s ok to be true to me first, actually it’s the right thing to do.. just do it in a good way
- You are a dot in a dot, you do not control anything ☺️
My role is to just be.. and this whole trip was showing me just that, nothing more and nothing less .. go deeper and know the meaning of presence and quieten the ego ☺️ Purpose? Maybe this is my Purpose .. Just Be ..
